As adults, we all have a role to play in helping to develop assets in youth. It takes building relationships, spending time together, and nurturing positive values with young people. The more assets a young person has, the more likely he or she will value diversity, do well in school, and engage in community service - and the less likely the young person will engage in risky behaviors. |
