Community Leaders Training

This training is for service organizations, community based agencies, neighborhood groups, senior citizen clubs, faith communities, and political officials.

  • Learn how individuals and organizations alike can ensure young people grow up with the supportive relationships they need to succeed.
  • Recognize the power of positive adult role modeling through intentional programs, philosophies, and practices.

As adults, we all have a role to play in helping to develop assets in youth.  It takes building relationships, spending time together, and nurturing positive values with young people.

The more assets a young person has, the more likely he or she will value diversity, do well in school, and engage in community service - and the less likely the young person will engage in risky behaviors.
